About your visit
Bennerley Viaduct offers something for everyone – those seeking to take in its panoramic views, fine-tune their art or photography skills, explore the footpaths and nature reserve around the site, or simply enjoy a cup of tea in our cafe.
It’s FREE to visit this amazing heritage asset, so it’s the perfect place for the family to enjoy a great value day out. You can access the viaduct at any time during the day, or come when our visitor centre is open, to make the most of our facilities.
Visitor Centre
The Bennerley Viaduct Visitor Centre has accessible toilets and a cafe serving locally-sourced refreshments.
- Opening hours: Thursday & Friday 10am-2.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am-3pm
- Closed: Monday – Wednesday
Please note that we stop serving hot drinks half an hour before closing to allow us to catch up on orders and clean the coffee machine. Cold drinks and food are available up until close.

Car parking can be paid for either by using the RingGo app, or by debit or credit card via the automated phone system on 0203 046 0010.
With exhibitions, events, tours and volunteering opportunities, you can learn more about the history of the site, the unique environment and the many species that call it home, or join our team of active and committed volunteers who carry out maintenance and conservation work throughout the week.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at the Bennerley Viaduct Visitor Centre, we have water bowls around the facility as well as dog ice cream for sale.
However, due to the size of the café space, when it is busy, we please ask that customers with dogs find a seat outside once they have been served. There is some covered seating available. We will review this policy as we move into the winter months and make any necessary changes.
Registered assistance dogs are allowed inside. We apologise for any inconvenience, thank you for understanding.
