On the weekend of May 6th and 7th, more than sixty cyclists took part in this historic event with Raleigh providing a fleet of state-of-the-the art electric bicycles. People came from as far afield as Manchester and Crewe for the event where groups pedalled on the Erewash Valley Trail from Raleigh HQ in Eastwood to Bennerley Viaduct….

Team Sky cycling chief, Sir Dave Brailsford, has given his full backing to the Bennerley Viaduct Exhibition which is currently on display at the Erewash Museum. The exhibition celebrates the fascinating history of the viaduct along details of its future use as a cycling and walking trail.
