Volunteers make progress with safety lines and seating

In June FoBV volunteers finished painting the last of the yellow safety lines on the deck of the viaduct, reports site ranger Ian Lambert. The markings should last a couple of years before we need to revisit this task. A big thank you to everyone who helped, including staff from Coach, Parry and Wilkes and Balfour Beatty.

We now have new seating on the viaduct deck, to be followed up with more in the coming weeks. Thank you to Trevor Baigent for making and fitting the benches.

Finally, thanks to Colin Rolland for strimming beneath the viaduct to keep the path accessible and stopping the nettles and brambles from causing a painful walking hazard.
