Volunteers make progress with safety lines and seating

In June, FoBV volunteers finished painting the last of the yellow safety lines on the deck of the viaduct. The markings should last a couple of years before this task needs to be repeated. The volunteers were joined by staff from Coach, Parry & Wilkes and Balfour Beatty.

New seating has been installed on the viaduct deck, and more will be added in the coming weeks. Thanks go to Trevor Baigent who made and fitted the benches.

Finally, Colin Rolland has been strimming beneath the viaduct to keep the path accessible and stop the nettles and brambles from causing a painful walking hazard.
